Sales & Account Manager, US Retail (Fractional, California-Based)

Morning Made is a modern beverage company offering premium coffee alternatives with natural health benefits. The Sales & Account Manager, US Retail is responsible for driving retail sales growth and nurturing relationships with key accounts, managing existing accounts, and prospecting new leads.

Responsibilities:

• Driving retail sales growth and nurturing relationships with key accounts
• Managing existing retail accounts
• Prospecting and qualifying new leads through direct sales outreach
• Booking and taking meetings with retail buyers and brokers
• Conducting regular check-ins with partners
• Monitoring sales performance
• Coordinating promotions
• Ensuring accurate product placement
• Resolving customer and account issues
• Providing timely reporting on account activity
• Collaborating on retail marketing initiatives
• Supporting in-store events or activations as needed

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess strong Account Management and Lead Generation skills to grow and maintain retail partnerships
• Comfortable and confident doing direct sales outreach, booking meetings, and working with brokers to open new doors
• Candidates should possess Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills to ensure positive experiences for retail partners and end customers
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, retail partners, and stakeholders
• Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, and use CRM or sales tools effectively
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
• Based in California, with occasional travel to retail locations or industry events as required
• Experience in retail or consumer packaged goods sales is highly beneficial
• Prior experience in wellness, beverage, or lifestyle brands is a plus
