Operation Group Manager SMB area

Company Description

We are seeking a strategic and visionary Group Manager to lead the operetion group for a key product under Check Point’s security platforms.

In this role, you will get the opportunity to manage deliveries and products to strategic customers and escort challanging technology projects from design stage to large scale deployment.

Job Description

• Strategic Leadership
• Manage the delivery process from design, through development, Early Availability to rollout in production 
• Define and drive the quality vision, strategy, and roadmap for the products including Automation, Quality Assurance and Customers' focus team, aligning with engineering and business goals.
• Organizational Management
• Manage a group of 20 people, focusing on talent growth, performance, and collaboration across teams.
• Lead and mentor an engineering group consisting of 3-4 specialized teams
• Cross-Organizational Impact
• Leadership, Collaboration, and Project Management
• Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across engineering, product, security, and support functions.
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders across teams and drive consensus on technical and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS/CE or similar field, with a minimum of 6+years of software development experience, including managing managers and cross-functional development teams.

• Leading teams of 15-20 people in a fast-paced, large-scale development environment.

• Customer engagement 

• Managing security and networking projects 

• Experience working with generative AI tools, such as OpenAI ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude for analysis, content creation, automation, and workflow optimization

• Proven experience in programming and scripting languages such as C++, C, Python, Shell 

• Proven expertise in designing automation and scalable systems

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills—able to drive alignment at all levels of the organization.
