Project Manager | Commercial Restaurant Renovations & Interior Fit-Outs | Remote (U.S.)

Ameritech Facility Services is seeking an experienced General Contractor Project Manager to lead restaurant renovations, interior fit-outs, and commercial remodels for nationally recognized restaurant brands. This remote position involves managing multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple commercial restaurant renovation and interior fit-out projects from preconstruction through final closeout
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout each project
• Develop and maintain project schedules while coordinating subcontractors, field personnel, vendors, and suppliers
• Manage project budgets, purchasing, material procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, and project closeout activities
• Identify schedule conflicts and proactively resolve field issues to maintain project timelines
• Conduct preconstruction meetings, site visits, progress meetings, and final punch walks
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors across multiple markets
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and support subcontractors and field personnel as needed
• Maintain accurate project reports, expense tracking, purchase logs, and customer updates
• Utilize project management software to monitor schedules, budgets, and project progress
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Project Management experience on the General Contractor side of commercial construction
• Direct experience managing restaurant renovations, restaurant remodels, retail renovations, tenant improvements, or commercial interior fit-outs
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor coordination, permitting, inspections, change orders, and project closeout
• Experience directly managing multiple construction trades including framing, drywall, flooring, ceilings, paint, millwork, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finish work
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and sequencing multiple trades to maintain aggressive project schedules
• Proven ability to manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously while maintaining budgets, schedules, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing, code compliance, life safety requirements, and inspections
• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and commercial construction management software
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel 25% to 50% throughout the United States
• Ability to work remotely from a home office
• Ability to work occasional nights or weekends when project schedules require
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Candidates must be able to walk active construction sites safely
• Candidates must be able to climb ladders and stairs as needed
• Candidates must be able to lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must be able to work around construction equipment and active job sites
• Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with customers, subcontractors, inspectors, and field personnel
• National restaurant rollout experience
• QSR, retail, grocery, or hospitality renovation experience
• Experience with occupied renovations and fast-track remodels
• Experience managing compressed 6 to 12-week construction schedules
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar software
