Staff Product Designer

Acceler8 Talent is redefining customer experiences, and they are seeking a Staff Product Designer to be the first dedicated designer in the company. This role involves shaping products from the ground up and influencing design strategy while working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Own product design across multiple products from day one
• Help shape the future of design within a growing business
• Work directly with product, engineering and leadership, with fast decision-making and real influence
• Design experiences powered by machine learning, turning complex data into simple, intuitive products
• You'll be the first full-time Product Designer, taking ownership of the end-to-end user experience across a suite of connected products, including a consumer app, customer platform, field technician tools and internal systems

Requirements:

• Experience leading product design for consumer digital products at scale
• A portfolio demonstrating shipped products and measurable impact
• Confidence working in ambiguity, especially with AI or data-driven products
• Strong end-to-end product design skills, from early discovery through to detailed UI
• Excellent visual design, interaction design and communication skills
• Someone who enjoys simplifying complex problems rather than adding unnecessary features
• A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to influence decisions across teams
• Experience with IoT, connected devices or hardware-enabled products
• Background designing for multi-sided platforms or B2B2C products
• Experience joining an early-stage startup as one of the first designers
