Data Analyst

Beacon Hill is recruiting for a contract-to-hire Data Analyst role; the hiring client is not identified. The role focuses on cleaning, transforming, and loading complex datasets, automating workflows, and creating reports and dashboards while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• This role involves working with large, complex datasets to clean, transform, and load data into internal systems while ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Create dashboards and automated reports
• Responsibilities include developing scripts to streamline workflows, identifying outliers, and applying best practices for handling sensitive information

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a Master's degree with at least one year of relevant experience is required
• Strong SQL skills focused on pulling, querying, and loading data
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, data cleaning, transformation, and automation of workflows
• Hands-on experience with reporting and visualization tools such as SSRS, Tableau, or Power BI
• Ability to clean and transform large, messy datasets, identify outliers, and ensure data integrity for accurate analysis
• Experience using GitHub
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• MySQL experience
• Familiarity with ETL concepts (no specific tools required)
