Sales Development Representative

Summit House is a founder-built collective of specialized agencies, and they are seeking a Sales Development Representative who will drive the outreach efforts for their growth team. The role involves managing the Apollo.io platform, executing outbound prospecting, and ensuring effective communication with potential clients.

Responsibilities:

• Apollo.io platform management: You are the owner of our Apollo.io instance. This means building and maintaining prospect lists, managing sequences, monitoring deliverability, A/B testing subject lines and messaging, analyzing sequence performance, and continuously optimizing based on data. If Apollo.io has a feature, you know how to use it
• Outbound prospecting: Using a combination of data signals — new CMO hires, funding events, agency reviews, high spend with low creative quality — you identify and prioritize the right targets across our agency verticals. You build targeted lists that are specific and researched, not spray-and-pray
• Sequence execution: You write and deploy outbound email sequences that are sharp, personalized, and reflective of the Summit House brand. Generic templates are not in your vocabulary. Every touchpoint should feel like it was written for that specific person
• Qualification and handoff: When a prospect engages, you qualify them against our criteria and prepare a clean handoff brief for the Director of Growth or a Summit House partner. You set meetings. You do not wing handoffs
• CRM hygiene: You keep Monday.com updated, accurate, and current at all times. Every prospect, every touchpoint, every status — tracked. You are disciplined about this even when it is not exciting
• Reporting: Weekly activity reports covering sequences sent, open rates, reply rates, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution. You know your numbers and you can speak to them

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of SDR experience, specifically within an agency, creative services, or marketing services environment. You understand how brands buy agency services and how to speak their language
• Apollo.io expertise is required, not preferred. You should be able to sit down and demonstrate mastery of the platform on day one — sequences, filters, intent data, integrations, deliverability management, and reporting
• Strong written communication skills. The quality of your outreach reflects directly on Summit House. You write clearly, concisely, and with a point of view. You can make a cold email feel warm
• Data-driven mindset. You track what works, kill what does not, and continuously iterate. You do not send the same sequence for six months hoping for a different result
• Curiosity about brands and culture. Summit House operates at the intersection of creativity and commerce. The best SDR we hire will care about the brands they are reaching out to, not just the activity metrics
• Resilience and self-motivation. This is a remote role and you will have autonomy. You do not need someone standing over you to hit your numbers. You are self-directed and you hold yourself accountable
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment. We move fast, we iterate quickly, and we expect everyone on the team to be a builder, not just a doer
• Experience selling across multiple service lines or agency disciplines — not just one vertical
• Familiarity with tools like Winmo, MediaRadar, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator alongside Apollo.io
• Experience working alongside a Director of Growth or sales leader in a collaborative outbound motion
