Blue Sage Solutions is a company that focuses on providing innovative solutions, and they are seeking a Sales Development Representative to manage outbound prospecting efforts. The role involves researching potential leads, crafting personalized outreach messages, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media (LinkedIn, etc.)
- Research and identify potential leads within the target market based on defined Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs)
- Craft personalized outreach messages that align with Blue Sage's value proposition
- Qualify leads using predefined criteria
- Engage prospects in initial discovery conversations to assess fit and intent
- Disqualify non-fit prospects promptly to maintain pipeline quality
- Schedule meetings, demos, and discovery calls for the Blue Sage sales team
- Coordinate calendars and send timely confirmations and reminders to prospects
- Log all prospect interactions, notes, and activity in Hubspot accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain and update lead and contact records within Hubspot
- Submit weekly activity reports covering calls made, emails sent, and meetings scheduled
Requirements:
- 1+ year of outbound prospecting experience (phone, email, LinkedIn)
- Hands-on Salesforce or CRM experience
- Available 25-35 hrs/week as an independent contractor through December 2026
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with lead qualification frameworks
