Mainframe Engineer/Developer - Client Site

NTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100. They are seeking an experienced Mainframe Engineer/Developer to design, develop, test, and support mainframe applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, test, and debug mainframe applications
• Perform code analysis, troubleshooting, and production support
• Collaborate with infrastructure and environment teams to promote code across development, testing, and production environments
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions
• Participate in application maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience developing and debugging mainframe applications
• 5+ years of COBOL development experience
• Strong experience with: CICS, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, MQ, JCL
• Experience with Endeavor Software Manager
• Familiarity with DB2 utilities, File-AID, job schedulers, and debugging tools
• Knowledge of secure file transfer processes (SFTP/AWX)
• Understanding of CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• CICS systems administration knowledge
• Experience with Java and front-end technologies such as Angular
