Cybersecurity Project Manager

Brooksource is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead a large-scale GovRAMP compliance initiative supporting their client's Medicaid business. This role will oversee governance, coordination, and execution of compliance efforts to ensure cloud-based applications meet necessary security requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise-wide GovRAMP compliance initiatives supporting Medicaid cloud applications
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Cybersecurity, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Application Development, Compliance, Legal, and Vendor Management teams
• Manage project governance, including RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), milestone tracking, issue resolution, and executive status reporting
• Drive application readiness activities to ensure compliance with GovRAMP and NIST SP 800-53 security control requirements
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to track security assessments, remediation activities, and compliance milestones
• Coordinate activities across approximately 60 internal and external application owners and vendors to ensure timely completion of compliance requirements
• Facilitate governance meetings, remove blockers, manage dependencies, and escalate risks as needed
• Track program progress and maintain dashboards using Jira Align, Azure DevOps (ADO), and other project management tools
• Support continuous monitoring activities and ongoing compliance reporting throughout the lifecycle of the program
• Ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders while maintaining project schedules and regulatory deadlines

Requirements:

• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience leading large-scale enterprise initiatives
• Experience managing cybersecurity, compliance, governance, or regulatory programs
• Working knowledge of GovRAMP, FedRAMP, or similar security compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 security controls and compliance processes
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams, including Security, Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, and Application Development
• Healthcare industry experience, preferably supporting Medicaid or Medicare initiatives
• Experience using Jira Align, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar Agile project management tools
• Excellent organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, CSM, or other Project Management/Agile certifications preferred
• Experience leading cloud security or regulatory compliance initiatives within Azure or other cloud environments
• Experience managing large vendor ecosystems and third-party compliance activities
• Familiarity with enterprise governance frameworks and cybersecurity risk management
• Experience supporting highly regulated healthcare or government environments
