Senior JDE Finance Business Analyst

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior JDE Finance Business Analyst on a permanent basis on our Technology team. This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Canada.

Are you a subject matter expert in the JD Edwards (JDE) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system? We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior JDE Finance Business Analyst and play a key role in optimizing Finance & Accounting systems, supporting users, and leading strategic system initiatives. 

What you’ll do:

• Provide functional support and administration for JDE Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Job Cost, and related system interfaces.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to gather requirements, develop functional specifications, support testing, and lead system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations
• Serve as the primary liaison between Finance and IT, lead cross-functional initiatives, support third-party applications, provide training documentation, and act as a subject matter expert for system features and best practices.
• Troubleshoot system and data integrity issues, perform root cause analysis, prepare test data, support QA activities, and ensure accurate and balanced financial system operations.

The Team: You will work closely with other JDE Analysts and IT System Analysts and will report into the Lead, Finance Solutions. This team strives to cultivate a culture of diversity, continual learning, and cutting-edge innovation. 

 

The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Innovation business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as the Finance Systems Sustainment team.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related field. 
• Have 6-9 years' experience in understanding and integrating existing systems and technology, including at least 3 years' experience with full-cycle JDE financial product implementation (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Are familiar with other JDE modules, such as procurement, inventory, and equipment asset management.
