Project Manager - Solid Waste Solutions

Foth is a 100% member-owned science and engineering consulting firm headquartered in Wisconsin, with over 85 years of success. They are seeking a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven Project Manager to join their growing Solid Waste team, overseeing the full project lifecycle for solid waste initiatives and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full project lifecycle for solid waste initiatives—including scope development, cost estimation, planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction, and closeout
• Ensure all aspects of the projects meet client expectations, adhering to the agreed scope, budget, and schedule
• Resolve complex technical, financial, scheduling, and regulatory challenges through effective negotiation and solution-finding
• Utilize Foth’s project management methodologies to optimize project schedule, resources, and financial performance
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand client relationships
• Uphold strict safety standards and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or closely related technical field
• A minimum of 10 years of consulting experience in solid waste projects
• At least 5 years of project management experience
• Prior experience working on solid waste projects, particularly for public clients
• History of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience in proposal development and cost estimation for civil construction projects
• Experience in regulatory negotiations and issue resolution
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
