Sales Account Manager, Industrial Specialties - Ohio

As a Sales Account Manager in the industrial specialties market, you will cultivate relationships with customers, contributing to the company's growth and success by addressing their needs and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop long-term, productive relationships with current Industrial Specialties customers by understanding their business needs and seeking to address their challenges
• Ensure that the customer views the Company as trusted partner and problem-solver enabling business retention and growth
• Leverage market knowledge to seek opportunities for new business development. Identify unmet needs, prioritize opportunities and partner within the organization to support growth opportunities
• Establish (and follow) a rigorous process for following up on new leads, pursuing new lines of inquiry, etc
• Understand Industrial Specialties market trends and competitive environment in our market segments
• Provide market and customer feedback to all internal stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 5+ years' experience across sales and customer facing roles within US specialty chemical distribution market
• Previous experience managing key Principals and developing/working within an opportunity pipeline
• Demonstrated expertise in general knowledge of the industrial specialties consumer and marketplace trends
• Strong understanding of working in opportunity pipeline and CRM systems
• Excellent communication and selling skills
• A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Must be able to show evidence of authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
• Scientific discipline preferred
• Experience in polymer science helpful
