Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support Agile delivery across multiple data and technology teams. This individual will serve as a hands-on Agile practitioner, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Quality teams to drive consistent delivery, improve team effectiveness, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong Scrum Master fundamentals with experience supporting complex, data-driven initiatives. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in environments with significant cross-team dependencies, helping teams improve flow, increase predictability, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

What You Will Be Working On

You will support enterprise-scale data and software initiatives involving data integration, platform enhancements, reporting solutions, analytics capabilities, and modernization efforts. Teams operate within a complex technical environment where collaboration, dependency management, and delivery transparency are critical to success.

The environment places a strong emphasis on data quality, operational reliability, scalable architecture, and Agile delivery excellence. Teams leverage modern cloud and data technologies while continuously improving delivery practices through metrics-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.


• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile delivery teams and help teams improve execution and collaboration.


• Coach teams toward greater ownership, accountability, and self-management.


• Partner with Product Owners to maintain healthy backlogs and align work with business objectives.


• Guide teams in creating clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done.


• Remove impediments and proactively manage risks that impact delivery.


• Identify and address cross-functional dependencies to help teams maintain delivery momentum.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives through transparency, inspection, and adaptation.


• Use Agile metrics and delivery data to identify bottlenecks and improve workflow efficiency.


• Foster collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.


• Help teams establish sustainable delivery practices that promote predictability and quality.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.


• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid approaches.


• Experience supporting software development, digital product, data engineering, or technology delivery teams.


• Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and coach teams at varying levels of Agile maturity.


• Experience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously.


• Strong facilitation, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to influence teams and stakeholders without formal authority.


• Experience using Agile metrics to improve delivery performance and team effectiveness.


• Familiarity with dependency management and coordination across multiple teams.


• Experience with Agile delivery tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting data engineering, data platform, analytics, or integration-focused teams.


• Understanding of data pipelines, data movement, data transformation, and enterprise data workflows.


• Experience in cloud-based technology environments.


• Familiarity with modern data platform technologies.


• Knowledge of forecasting techniques and delivery planning practices.


• Advanced Agile or Scrum certifications.

Ideal Background

The strongest candidates will have a proven history of serving as an embedded Scrum Master within technology organizations, supporting multiple teams while driving measurable delivery improvements. They will understand how to leverage flow-based metrics such as cycle time, throughput, work-in-progress, and work item age to improve predictability and team performance.

Experience working alongside data engineering, analytics, integration, or platform teams is highly desirable, as is the ability to navigate complex technical environments with multiple stakeholders and dependencies. Successful candidates will be collaborative leaders who build trust, foster accountability, and help teams continuously improve the way they deliver value.
