VP of FInance

Elly is the leading provider of workplace financial wellbeing, blending fiduciary digital planning with access to one-on-one guidance from Certified Financial Planner™️ professionals. As the Vice President of Finance, you will lead the company’s financial strategy and operations, ensuring a solid financial foundation for growth while acting as a strategic partner to leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the strategic finance partner to the CEO, COO, and Board, providing insight into business performance, capital efficiency, and long-term financial planning
• Own and evolve FP&A, including forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, and financial planning to support growth and decision-making
• Lead and oversee accounting operations, working closely with an outsourced accounting firm to ensure accurate, timely reporting and compliance with GAAP
• Build scalable financial processes, controls, and systems to support a growing B2B2C fintech business
• Prepare and deliver clear, actionable financial reporting for executive leadership and the Board, with a focus on transparency and predictability
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, Client Success, People, and Legal teams to align financial planning with company priorities
• Support go-to-market efforts through pricing analysis, renewals, revenue forecasting, and unit economics
• Manage tax, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance in collaboration with external partners
• Contribute to capital planning, investor communications, and future fundraising preparation as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, and financial rigor as the company scales
• Help define the roadmap for building an internal finance team over time, while remaining deeply involved in execution
