Mölnlycke Health Care is a world-leading medical products and solutions company, and they are seeking an experienced Global Project Manager to help shape the future of project delivery across their organization. This role will lead strategic cross-functional initiatives in the U.S. business, focusing on portfolio expansion, product integration, and operational transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead global cross-functional projects from initiation through execution and closeout
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations
- Drive stakeholder alignment across business functions, regions, and leadership teams
- Manage project risks, dependencies, governance activities, and decision-making processes
- Lead product integration, portfolio expansion, operational improvement, and strategic business initiatives
- Support project portfolio planning and resource management activities
- Establish project structures, processes, and best practices where gaps exist
- Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and knowledge-sharing activities
- Build strong partnerships across U.S. and global stakeholder groups
- Influence teams and deliver results without direct reporting authority
- Occasionally travel domestically and internationally to support project objectives and collaboration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred
- Degree discipline is flexible and may include Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations, Healthcare, Project Management, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Experience managing global projects and working within matrixed organizations
- Strong understanding of Stage-Gate project management methodologies
- PMP, PMI, SAFe, Release Train Engineer (RTE), or similar project management certification required
- Proven ability to influence and lead without direct authority
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience within a regulated industry required (Medical Device, Pharma, Biotechnology, Healthcare, Automotive, or similar)
- Experience with Agile, SAFe, Lean, and/or Kanban frameworks preferred
- M&A integration, portfolio management, or program management experience strongly preferred
- Experience utilizing project portfolio management (PPM) tools and reporting platforms is a plus
