The Senior Business Systems Analyst - Capacity Management role focuses on optimizing performance through technology in a healthcare setting, involving the analysis of trends, development of forecasts, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for optimizing performance through technology and maximizing Capacity Management goals
- Responsible for analyzing trends and volumes or issues, patterns, as well as developing models, forecasts and recommendations to anticipate future demand
- Assists with the design and implementation of Epic decision trees and provider templates
- Collaborates with key stakeholders, end users and project team members to identify and resolve issues regarding all phases of assigned projects including assessment, design build, testing, training and implementation
- Provides reports, assessments and information to Capacity Management Leadership to aid in the optimal functioning of team
- As required, provide leadership on project tasks and mentor other project analysts as appropriate
- Provide ongoing support of Capacity Management systems as needed in support of production operations to ensure functionality and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of five (5) years total experience in an Information Services or healthcare analysis environment; three (3) of the five (5) years must be in a healthcare analysis environment
- Proven experience and knowledge of project management skills, tools and methodologies
- Proven experience leading committees, projects and activities
- Proven ability to fully use and apply standard principles, theories and concepts related to technical discipline
- Experience with clinical, hospital and / or financial applications and / or systems
- Epic Cadence Certified
