Circet USA is a leading provider of telecommunications and data center infrastructure services in North America, and they are seeking a Project Manager - Wireless. The Project Manager is responsible for project planning, risk management, budget management, and overall performance of telecommunications projects.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop project plans and schedules
- Allocate resources and monitor progress
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Implement risk management plans to minimize project disruptions
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations
- Provide regular updates on project status and milestones
- Estimate project costs and prepare budgets
- Monitor expenditures and ensure projects stay within budget
- Establish quality standards and ensure adherence
- Conduct quality reviews and implement improvements as necessary
- Lead and motivate project teams
- Delegate tasks and monitor team performance
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs
- Assess impacts and adjust plans accordingly
- Maintain project documentation
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Common majors include: Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration with a focus on Project Management
- Understanding of telecommunications networks, technologies, and protocols
- Familiarity with telecom equipment, software, and systems
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana)
- Experience with Gantt charts, Kanban boards, and other planning tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly identify issues and implement solutions
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams

- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Master's degree in project management, Telecommunications Management, or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Agile and Scrum Certifications: Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are valuable, especially in industries that emphasize agile methodologies
- Telecom-Specific Certifications: Certified Telecommunications Project Management (CTPM), Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- 1-3 years of Project Management experience is strongly preferred: Prior experience in project management is crucial, preferably in a related field such as telecommunications, IT, or engineering
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the telecommunications industry, either in technical roles or project management, is highly beneficial
- Soft Skills: Effective project managers also possess soft skills such as adaptability, resilience, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
