Data Scientist

They are seeking a Data Scientist to transform complex immigration data into actionable intelligence for decision-makers, requiring the ability to work under limited supervision and bridge the gap between raw data and executive briefings.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement predictive models to identify trends in benefit requests, potential fraud indicators, or national security vulnerabilities
• Utilize the USCIS Data Lake to aggregate, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets
• Develop and maintain enterprise-level dashboards (e.g., using Tableau or Power BI) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
• Translate highly technical analytical findings into clear, non-technical recommendations for agency senior leadership and interagency partners
• Collaborate with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) to evaluate new tools and ensure data integration between disparate DHS systems
• Must be able to work ON-SITE with the customer or at the Hive Group HQTRS in McLean VA
