Data Scientist (Remote)

Knexus is at the forefront of AI development for the government, seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their team. The role involves using data to assist government leaders in making mission-critical decisions through data analysis, predictive modeling, and collaboration with various departments.

Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Modeling: You will develop statistical models and algorithms to analyze large, complex datasets. Your expertise will be used to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and signals from data
• Predictive Analytics: Use machine learning techniques to predict future trends based on historical data
• Data Visualization and Reporting: Create visual representations of data to help stakeholders understand findings and make informed decisions. You will also provide detailed reports and presentations on your findings
• Collaboration: You will work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. A strong sense of public service and excellent communication skills are key to collaborating with multidisciplinary government teams
• Experience with Large Datasets: You must be comfortable working with large datasets, as a core responsibility will be to analyze extensive data to drive innovation and improve policy outcomes. This includes cleaning and structuring raw data to make it readable for software programs
