They are seeking a passionate Sr Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their dynamic QE team and help drive the success of their cutting-edge product, which aims to transform how organizations manage and process legal data.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with our agile, cross-functional engineering team to build a robust, enterprise-grade SaaS contract management platform
- Drive the quality assurance process by implementing comprehensive automated functional, regression and performance testing, ensuring our platform consistently meets the highest quality standards
- Enhance platform scalability by implementing effective performance and load testing strategies
- Partner with software developers and product managers to define features and establish criteria for verifying correct implementation, fostering a quality-first mindset throughout the development cycle
- Leverage your expertise in test automation to design, develop, and maintain efficient test automation frameworks that support continuous delivery and integration
- Actively mentor P2 and P3 SDETs, conducting high-level code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 5 years focused on test automation
- Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, including Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools in production environments
- 5+ years of professional programming experience in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, with demonstrated knowledge of software design patterns
- Proven experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks that reduced manual testing effort or increased test coverage
- Experience testing REST APIs, including writing automated API tests and identifying potential issues before release
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins), ensuring automated build, test, and deployment processes
- Experience with cloud environments, micro-services, or containerized applications
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools or advanced test automation techniques
- Strong understanding of performance and security testing principles
