Video Game Charity Project - Unreal Engine Blueprint Game Mechanics Specialist

Pixel Games Studio is the game development branch of Boundless Gamers, a non-profit charity in the gaming community. They are seeking an Unreal Engine Blueprint Game Mechanics Specialist to design and implement gameplay mechanics and systems, working closely with the art and design teams.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing gameplay mechanics
• Interactive systems
• Game logic using Unreal Engine's visual scripting system, Blueprints
• Work closely with the art and design teams
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on new features
• Ensuring a functional and engaging player experience

Requirements:

• Proven experience creating gameplay systems and interactive features using Unreal Engine Blueprints
• Strong understanding of Blueprint visual scripting, including data structures, variables, and functions
• Ability to translate game design documents and ideas into working Blueprint logic
• Solid problem-solving skills and an ability to debug and optimize Blueprint scripts
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in this field
• Experience with C++ or other programming languages is a plus
