Business Analyst (Non-IT): Lead

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a Lead Business Analyst with expertise in mortgage lending and financial analytics to support strategic business initiatives. The role involves analyzing complex business processes, developing business requirements, and providing data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements
• Develop current-state and future-state process documentation
• Create ROI and financial business case analyses
• Utilize SQL, SAS, Tableau, and sandbox environments for data analysis and reporting
• Analyze mortgage, HELOC, and servicing portfolios using internal and external data
• Leverage competitive intelligence and economic indicators to support strategic recommendations
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements
• Produce executive-level reporting and presentations
• Support cross-functional teams throughout project lifecycles

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience
• Strong Mortgage, HELOC, or Mortgage Servicing experience
• Strong SQL and SAS experience
• Tableau reporting and dashboard development
• Experience working in sandbox or analytical environments
• Financial modeling and ROI analysis
• Requirements gathering and business process documentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience within large banking or fintech organizations preferred
• U.S. education preferred
