Associate Project Manager- US

Very is a fully distributed technology firm focused on creating efficient, scalable solutions for various clients. The Associate Project Manager will coordinate software, hardware, design, and data engineering efforts to ensure successful project delivery while supporting multiple teams and maintaining clear communication with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Support project planning, coordination, and execution across multiple technical disciplines
• Maintain documentation, schedules, and deliverable trackers for assigned engagements
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams on status, blockers, and next steps
• Proactively surface risks or scope changes — and communicate them early to maintain alignment
• Participate in client and internal project meetings; capture actions and ensure follow-through
• Learn and apply Very’s standard delivery frameworks for agile, iterative work
• Participate in retrospectives and help identify process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 0–2 years of professional experience in a technical or project environment (internships and capstone projects count)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, client-facing environments
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
• Ability to work with modern AI-based tools
• Familiarity with modern engineering workflows (Git, Agile tools, cloud services)
• Ability to learn and communicate technical concepts quickly
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and common project management tools (Jira, Notion, etc.)
