Aventis Solutions is partnering with a fast-growing AI and technology scale-up in the US to appoint Data Scientists passionate about solving complex problems. The role involves working alongside AI Engineers and other specialists to transform data into valuable solutions and support enterprise AI initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Transform complex data into actionable intelligence that supports AI innovation, product development, and strategic decision-making across the organisation
- Develop predictive models, evaluate emerging AI techniques, identify commercial opportunities, and help build intelligent products that create measurable value for customers
- Balance analytical rigour with commercial thinking, experimenting with new approaches, validating ideas with data, and ensuring insights are translated into real-world outcomes
Requirements:
- Strong experience developing statistical models, predictive analytics, experimentation, and advanced analytical solutions
- Experience building, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models across real-world business environments
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience using modern data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
- Experience working within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
- Understanding of SQL, modern data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehouses, and large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools to communicate insights effectively
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into commercially valuable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working closely with AI Engineers, Software Developers, Product Managers, and business leaders in agile environments
- Naturally curious with a passion for exploring emerging AI technologies, new modelling techniques, and innovative approaches to solving complex problems
- Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, recommendation engines, or intelligent automation is highly desirable
