Site Reliability Engineer

Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company that focuses on designing, building, securing, and operating cutting-edge software solutions for Federal Government organizations. They are currently seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support the TAK Product Center, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical systems while developing automation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor system health, responding to incidents, and preventing future issues
• Contribute to cost-savings strategies, performance optimization, and the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices
• Patch systems proactively to increase reliability and properly document all changes
• Write reports, development notes, and wikis for supporting documentation

Requirements:

• Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification
• Bachelor degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience
• 3+ years technical experience in systems/network administration
• Experience with Linux and cloud computing (AWS preferred)
• Experience with containerization to optimize cloud use
• CI/CD pipeline system experience and familiarization with relevant artifacts, and products
• Zero Trust implementation experience
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
