Peek is the operating system powering the experiences industry, focusing on tourism and activities. The Market Manager will leverage their knowledge of the Hawaiʻi tourism market to build strategic partnerships, drive growth, and serve as the product expert in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Grow relationships with operators, wholesale partners, resellers, online travel agencies (OTAs), and tour desks throughout Hawaiʻi
- Leverage your existing tourism network to generate warm leads, referrals, and partnership opportunities that contribute to the commercial pipeline
- Represent Peek at industry events, trade shows, tourism organizations, and operator meetings across the islands
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships that support market growth and long-term customer success
- Become the leading expert on Peek Pro within the Hawaiʻi market
- Develop Hawaiʻi-specific use cases, workflows, and demo scenarios tailored to local operators
- Deliver engaging, operator-focused product demonstrations, both in person and virtually
- Translate platform capabilities into practical solutions based on each operator's business needs
- Serve as the product and solutions expert during sales engagements, addressing technical questions and demonstrating workflow-specific value
- Gather operator feedback, competitive intelligence, and market insights and share them with internal stakeholders
- Contribute to the evolution of Peek's Hawaiʻi go-to-market strategy by identifying market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities
- Partner with Product, Partnerships, and Leadership teams to ensure Hawaiʻi's unique market dynamics are reflected in product development and commercial planning
- Help establish a scalable, relationship-driven growth model for the region
- Partner with the sales team on active opportunities by participating in discovery conversations, operator meetings, and product demonstrations
- Support pipeline development through lead generation, introductions, and relationship building
- Help drive deals to successful outcomes by providing market expertise and product knowledge
- Ensure seamless handoffs during onboarding to promote strong adoption and customer success from day one
- Own post-onboarding relationships with operators to ensure successful adoption and long-term value realization
- Conduct regular onsite and virtual business reviews to increase platform utilization and strengthen customer relationships
- Identify expansion opportunities, including additional features, integrations, and booking growth initiatives
- Proactively identify and address churn risks through engagement, problem-solving, and strategic account planning
- Serve as a trusted advisor to operators as they navigate growth, operational changes, and evolving distribution strategies
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of the Hawaiʻi tourism landscape, including operators, distribution channels, wholesale partnerships, and market dynamics
- An established network of operator, partner, and industry relationships across the Hawaiian Islands
- 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, B2B sales, account management, or a related commercial role, ideally within tourism, hospitality, travel, or SaaS
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and create value through partnerships and relationships
- A passion for technology and the ability to quickly develop deep product expertise
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
- A collaborative, self-directed, and highly accountable working style
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
- Existing relationships with tour, activity, and attraction operators across Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, and Hawaiʻi Island
- Experience with SaaS, booking technology, reservation systems, or travel technology platforms
- Familiarity with Hawaiʻi's wholesale distribution ecosystem, including resellers, OTAs, and tour desk networks
- Experience in sales engineering, solutions consulting, pre-sales, or customer-facing product advisory roles
