Full Stack Software Engineer (.Net/Azure)

Salient Insights is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer (.NET / Azure) to build and support internal enterprise applications for the mortgage and financial services sector. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications, including backend services and web UIs, while ensuring code quality and security.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise business applications
• Build backend services and REST APIs in C# and .NET
• Develop and support web-based user interfaces
• Design and optimize Azure SQL databases, stored procedures, and data models
• Deploy and support applications on Azure infrastructure
• Take part in architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical planning
• Build automated testing and QA into your work
• Follow enterprise SDLC, release, and change-management procedures
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams in an Agile environment

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full stack software development
• Strong depth in C#, .NET, Azure, Azure SQL, SQL Server, stored procedures, and relational database design
• Experience building web UIs and REST APIs / backend services
• Git, Jira, and real Agile/Scrum experience
• Solid grasp of enterprise SDLC and release management
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging instincts
• Mortgage or financial services experience
• Azure App Services and Azure Functions
• DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Security and compliance work in a regulated environment
