Full Stack Software Engineer (Mid-Sr.)

Prophetic is a leading company in real estate development, creating an AI-native platform for homebuilders and developers. The Full Stack Software Engineer will build and ship features across the core platform, utilizing AI tooling and collaborating with various teams to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Build and ship full-stack features across our core platform using modern backend and frontend frameworks
• Design and optimize database schemas for geospatial queries across large datasets
• Write production-quality code that deploys through our CI/CD pipeline
• Collaborate with product, design, and account management to translate customer needs into shipped features
• Use AI tooling as part of your daily development workflow — our engineers approach writing code
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and on-call rotation

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python and TypeScript/React, or similar
• Strong experience with relational databases and RESTful API design
• Comfort working across the full stack — you can build a backend endpoint and the frontend component that consumes it
• Experience shipping features in a production environment with CI/CD pipelines
• Comfort with AI development tooling
• Strong sense of product ownership
• Familiarity with a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience with geospatial data (parcel data, map layers, or similar)
• Experience with major cloud platforms
• Background in proptech, real estate, or construction technology
