Software Engineer C++— Generalist, Cross Platform Development

PACE Anti-Piracy, Inc is seeking a Software Engineer with experience in building commercial C++ applications across multiple platforms. The role involves collaborating with an experienced engineering team to design, develop, and deliver reliable software products for customers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cross-platform software applications and libraries
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to deliver high-quality releases
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and engineering quality initiatives
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues
• Contribute to build systems, testing, and automation efforts
• Support software across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong C/C++ development skills and modern software engineering practices
• Experience building and shipping commercial software products
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work proactively and independently in a collaborative environment
• Cross-platform development experience on Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Experience with Qt or JUCE
• Experience with security-focused software, including: Encryption, Secure communications, Code protection, Licensing or anti-tamper technologies
• Familiarity with CMake, Git, Python, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with distributed teams
