Program Manager, Custom Programs

CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization that transforms lives and builds bridges between individuals and nations. They are seeking a Program Manager to develop and manage customized study abroad programs, serving as the primary contact for CIEE partners and overseeing all aspects of program planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Manage an active pipeline of custom program opportunities to meet annual sales goals
• Collaborate with the Institutional Relations team to generate new program leads and secure new institutional partnerships
• Build relationships with partners by understanding their needs and objectives and delivering strong customer service
• Collaborate with international teams to draft program budgets, create program proposals, and write contracts
• Manage the pre-departure planning and preparation process with partners and CIEE staff
• Engage in CIEE and industry conferences and events to sell and promote CIEE’s Custom Programs
• Assist with special projects and other tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of Custom Programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of three years of solution sales, account management, or partnership development experience
• Self-motivated, collaborative, responsible, and passionate about exceeding partner expectations
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively in ambiguous environments
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and take initiative
• Ability to travel 10% of the time
• Experience working with faculty or within higher education
• Experience with Excel
• Experience with Salesforce
