Epiq is a company that contributes to complex, global legal outcomes, and they are seeking a Client Services Project Manager to oversee settlement administration. The role involves coordinating with various personnel to ensure project deliverables are met and managing client relationships while fostering a high-performing team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Continually monitor, evaluate, and guide project staff to meet project deliverables on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards
- Consistently look for ways to improve Epiq processes and procedures to more profitably deliver services to our clients
- Consistently apply performance standards and training to develop staff and build a high-performing team of industry experts, passionate people managers, critical thinkers, and strong problem solvers
- Provide timely and accurate budget/estimate review and management, monthly revenue forecasting, and monthly invoice review
- PMs are expected to meet billable-hour goals and oversee that similar targets are met for their direct reports
- Manage and resolve difficult client situations, including the application of critical thinking to solve existing problems and think a few steps ahead to anticipate and prevent probable issues before they arise
- Work with stakeholders in operational departments to continually enhance service quality standards to meet and/or exceed client expectations
- Foster a team environment and build cooperation between client services team members, intercompany team members, Epiq company team members, and sales to provide the highest quality service standards, reach revenue targets, and obtain efficiency/profit goals
- Perform a wide range of administrative tasks which rely heavily on querying large databases and subsequent data analysis
Requirements:
- Extensive project management experience is required
- A strong technical orientation and aptitude, excellent computer skills, exceptional planning and organizational skills, critical thinking, and a keen attention to detail are all required
- Advanced Excel skills and SQL or other relational database experience are required
- Outstanding communication skills are required
- A Bachelor's degree is required
- Prior legal experience is strongly preferred, particularly in class action legal administration
- Professional PMP certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred
- Knowledge of Agile or Lean Six Sigma project-management methodologies within a legal context is helpful
- Microsoft Access and Power BI experience helpful
- A Juris Doctor (JD), Masters of Business Administration (MBA), or similar advanced degree is preferred
