Control Systems Engineer

They are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to manage specialized work efficiently and ensure tasks are completed on time, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Performing GrayMatter services to meet client needs, with a specific focus on Control Systems
• Designing, developing and implementing solutions to resolve customer issues
• Consulting with and training end users on new applications
• Assisting in project development and planning
• Performing onsite pilots, FAT testing, SAT testing, and demos as needed
• The location of the position is remotely in Colorado
• Position requires 30 - 40% independent travel to customer locations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field (EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable). An equivalent combination of experience and training will also be considered
• Experience with industrial PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, Modicon, etc.)
• Required experience with Rockwell PLCs
• Required experience with GE iFix
• Control Systems implementation, design, installations, and troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics and electrical installations
• Acute attention to detail and process
• Strong ability to solve problems and research solutions
• Excellent customer service attitude
• Ability to work both independently and in team environments

• Ignition
• Networking experience (Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc.)

• Historian experience
• Database experience
• Higher level programming such as C++, C#, Python, etc
