Sales Development Representative

Athena Security is an industry leader in AI-powered concealed weapons detection, visitor management, and integrated security platforms. The Enterprise Sales Development Representative will identify and engage enterprise prospects, generate qualified sales opportunities, schedule meetings and demonstrations, and partner with Account Executives to build the enterprise sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-volume and strategic outbound prospecting through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other sales channels
• Identify and engage key decision-makers and stakeholders within enterprise organizations
• Research target accounts to understand their business, security challenges, organizational structure, and potential needs
• Generate, qualify, and develop high-value sales opportunities for the enterprise sales team
• Schedule qualified meetings, product demonstrations, and discovery calls for Account Executives
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop account strategies and prioritize high-potential opportunities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect and activity information in the CRM
• Build relationships with prospects through consistent and thoughtful follow-up
• Develop an understanding of Athena Security's technology, products, and value proposition and effectively communicate them to prospective customers
• Track prospecting activities, pipeline generation, meetings, and conversion metrics
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual SDR performance targets
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive activity, and developments in enterprise security

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
• Demonstrated ability to conduct outbound prospecting and cold calling
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Comfortable speaking with senior-level executives and enterprise decision-makers
• Highly motivated, competitive, persistent, and results-oriented
• Strong research, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities while maintaining consistent follow-up
• Experience using CRM and sales prospecting tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Previous experience in B2B sales, SaaS, technology, security, healthcare, or enterprise sales development is strongly preferred
