SiteSecurityScore is a security focused continuous monitoring and remediation platform that helps developers, digital agencies, and enterprise teams understand, monitor, and improve the security posture of their websites. As a Product Manager, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and company leadership to define product opportunities and improve user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product lifecycle from discovery, problem definition, and prioritization through development, launch, adoption, measurement, and iteration
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap based on customer needs, product strategy, market opportunities, technical constraints, and business priorities
- Conduct customer interviews, analyze product feedback, and study user behavior to identify unmet needs, usability challenges, and opportunities for product improvement
- Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and success metrics that provide engineering and design teams with clear product direction
- Partner closely with engineering to understand technical architecture, evaluate tradeoffs, clarify requirements, and make pragmatic scope and prioritization decisions
- Collaborate with design to simplify complex security findings and create intuitive workflows that help users understand risk, prioritize remediation, and take action
- Use product analytics, funnel analysis, customer feedback, and experimentation to evaluate feature adoption, identify friction points, validate hypotheses, and guide product decisions
- Partner with marketing and company leadership on product positioning, launches, release communications, customer education, and go-to-market initiatives
- Conduct competitive and market research across website security, attack surface management, developer security tools, and adjacent cybersecurity markets
- Coordinate product releases, manage dependencies and timelines, communicate progress and risks, and maintain alignment across stakeholders
- Engage directly with customers and users to investigate product issues, understand security use cases, gather feedback, and improve the product experience
Requirements:
- 1-3+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Product Ownership, or a related product role
- Experience owning and delivering SaaS, cybersecurity, developer tools, infrastructure, cloud, or technically complex products
- Demonstrated experience conducting customer discovery, identifying product opportunities, defining requirements, prioritizing roadmaps, and shipping customer-facing capabilities
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers and discuss APIs, web technologies, system architecture, and technical tradeoffs
- Familiarity with web security and internet technologies, such as HTTP security headers, TLS, DNS, Content Security Policy (CSP), web vulnerabilities, browser security, or related concepts, or demonstrated ability to learn technical domains quickly
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to make product decisions, including product analytics, experimentation, customer interviews, support feedback, and usage analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical and security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational and execution skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives, navigate ambiguity, and deliver outcomes in a distributed environment
- Ability to operate independently, exercise sound product judgment, and take ownership of problems from discovery through measurable outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience building products, developer tools, or B2B SaaS products
- Experience with product analytics platforms, experimentation frameworks, customer feedback tools, and modern product development practices
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, browser technologies, cloud infrastructure, or developer-facing products
- Experience taking an early-stage product from initial adoption through product-market fit, growth, or commercial expansion
- Experience working in a startup or small product organization where Product Managers operate across product strategy, execution, analytics, customer discovery, and go-to-market activities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
