EMCOR Group, Inc. is a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure. They are seeking a Business Development Executive to identify and grow new and existing national business, drive revenue growth, and build strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities
- Develops relationships with prospective clients to gain or expand new business
- Attends trades shows, conferences and meetings to promote services to potential clients
- Works collaboratively with internal departments such as EMCOR offices, Account Management, Solutions & Pricing, Operations and other areas to complete a request for proposal
- Promotes a positive safety culture by fully complying with all safety policies and procedures, and applicable federal, states and local regulations
- Any other duties as requested by management
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in business, marketing, related field or the equivalent in education and work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales including strategic selling experience
- Experience with Dynamics, Microsoft Suite (Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint), and Virtual Tools
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with strong business-related knowledge
- Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals
- Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget
- Strong negotiation skills for pricing, scope of work and other client specifications
- Ability to thrive in competitive market
- Focuses on the achievement of objectives and standards; Strives to improve or meet a standard of excellence
- Demonstrated willingness to learn from feedback and experience and changes behavior as a result
- Willing and able to travel 60% or more
- HVAC (local or national) experience preferred
- Experience in similar industry to be considered
