L1VE is an immersive media house bringing fans to the world’s biggest sports and music moments. They are seeking a Senior Post Production Manager to lead the optimization and management of a 360° VR post-production pipeline, ensuring high-quality delivery for partners.
Responsibilities:
- Build, document, and continuously optimize the entire 360° VR post-production pipeline at L1VE – from stitching and color grading to 3D audio and final delivery across all relevant formats
- Coordinate and lead internal post-production teams as well as external studios, freelancers, and technology partners – with clear briefings, quality standards, and timelines
- Own quality assurance for picture and spatial audio (Ambisonics) – ensuring every production meets or exceeds L1VE’s excellence standards
- Drive technological advancement in immersive media production: evaluate, test, and – where valuable – implement new tools, workflows, and innovations
- Work closely with Content & Creation, Tech, and Platform teams to ensure post-production is seamlessly integrated into the overall production process
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the post-production pipeline early and develop proactive countermeasures – before they become issues
Requirements:
- Professional experience in post-production, project management, or production management – ideally in VR/360° or immersive media, but this is not a strict requirement: structure, network, and leadership strength matter more
- Proven ability to build, lead, and optimize post-production pipelines – both with internal teams and with external studios and freelancers
- Solid technical understanding of 360° picture workflows (stitching, color, delivery) and 3D audio (Ambisonics, spatial audio, Dolby Atmos) – you know what to expect and demand from your teams
- Process-driven with strong execution – you don't create concepts that disappear into a drawer; you implement them
- Innovation-driven and curious – you don't want to merely manage the status quo; you want to shape, improve, and push it forward
- A principled networker – you bring an existing network in studios, freelance production, or technology, or you are able to build one in a focused, strategic way
- Genuine enthusiasm for immersive media, sports, music, and what makes 360° VR unique
- Calm under pressure and clear in your communication – internally and externally, at eye level with creatives and technicians alike
- Degree or completed vocational training in media production, film production, audio engineering, media business, or a comparable field – or equivalent practical experience that provides a similar foundation
- Tool-agnostic mindset and willingness to actively co-design the L1VE post-production pipeline – from software selection to workflow documentation
- Familiarity with common post-production software ecosystems (e.g. DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Mistika VR, Nuendo, Pro Tools or similar) – and a clear sense of which tools are right for which production requirements
- Confident working with project management tools (e.g. Notion, Jira, Asana, etc.) – you can map, track, and communicate post-production workflows digitally and transparently
- Experience leading production processes in demanding environments – budget responsibility and stakeholder management are not new to you. VR experience is a clear advantage, but not a must
- Fluent in English and German (business level) – you communicate confidently with international studios, technical teams, and brand partners
- Approx. 25% of working time, nationally and internationally
- Additional languages are a plus
