Customer Communications Manager - Benefits Division – Remote

Symetra has an exciting new opportunity to join their Benefits Division as a Customer Communications Manager. This role involves leading customer communications, developing strategies, and ensuring clear messaging that enhances the customer experience across various channels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement communication strategies, processes, and workflows for Benefits customers
• Partner with leaders and key stakeholders to prioritize communication needs and align on timelines and deliverables
• Ensure customers receive consistent, clear, and timely information across communication channels
• Create, edit, and distribute customer-facing communications, including operational updates, service announcements, and regulatory notifications
• Manage communication logistics, including audience segmentation, distribution methods, and delivery platforms
• Support urgent communication needs related to business, operational, or customer-impacting events
• Monitor project timelines and coordinate communication from initiation through distribution
• Provide reporting and insights on communication initiatives and outcomes
• Coordinate review and approval processes with compliance, legal, privacy, brand, and other internal partners
• Ensure communications meet regulatory requirements, company standards, and accessibility guidelines

Requirements:

• Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies, processes, and workflows
• Ability to partner with leaders and key stakeholders to prioritize communication needs and align on timelines and deliverables
• Experience in creating, editing, and distributing customer-facing communications
• Knowledge of managing communication logistics, including audience segmentation, distribution methods, and delivery platforms
• Ability to support urgent communication needs related to business, operational, or customer-impacting events
• Experience in monitoring project timelines and coordinating communication from initiation through distribution
• Ability to provide reporting and insights on communication initiatives and outcomes
• Experience in coordinating review and approval processes with compliance, legal, privacy, brand, and other internal partners
• Knowledge of ensuring communications meet regulatory requirements, company standards, and accessibility guidelines
