IT Operations Project Manager

The IT Operations Project Manager will ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects across computer infrastructure, cloud, and database domains, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects to timely completion.

Responsibilities:

• Leading end-to-end project management for infrastructure, cloud, and database initiatives, from initiation through closure
• Facilitating Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Applying traditional project management techniques such as project charter development, work breakdown structures (WBS), Gantt scheduling, and risk management planning where appropriate
• Managing and maintaining JIRA project boards, backlogs, epics, stories, and sprint configurations to ensure accurate real-time project visibility
• Collaborating with infrastructure, cloud, and database teams to define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables
• Identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as necessary to leadership
• Coordinating resource planning and task assignments across technical teams to ensure adequate capacity and delivery timelines
• Producing and distributing regular project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to stakeholders
• Supporting change management processes related to technology deployments, including communication planning and stakeholder alignment
• Ensuring project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle
• Travel to EVV twice a year
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• At least 3 years of project management experience with a focus on technology projects, including infrastructure, cloud, and/or database initiatives
• Demonstrated proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology, including experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager
• Strong working knowledge of traditional project management frameworks (Waterfall, PMBOK)
• Advanced proficiency in JIRA, including board configuration, backlog grooming, sprint management, reporting, and workflow customization
• Familiarity with computer infrastructure concepts such as networking, servers, and data centers
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cloud migration or deployment projects
• General understanding of database environments and database-related project considerations
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced technology environment
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills relative to project blockers and team impediments
• Willingness to work as a team and independently
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification preferred
