Senior Civil Engineer - Land Development

CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. They are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer, PE to provide technical leadership and strategic direction for land development engineering design projects, ensuring successful delivery and adherence to client specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Leads and manages the design team during the conceptual and development phases of projects
• Develops detailed action plans and resource estimates for labor, materials, and timelines required to successfully complete projects
• Evaluates and selects vendors based on technical competence, capabilities, resources, and financial stability
• Monitors project progress, comparing actual performance and costs against established estimates, and recommend adjustments as needed
• Partners with the design team to revise and refine project plans in response to challenges or changing requirements
• Prepares and presents regular project status reports, including progress, risks, and financial updates, to senior leadership
• Reviews and analyzes existing equipment, facilities, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality improvement, and cost reduction
• Collaborates with operations teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions
• Coordinate with project engineers across other locations to exchange knowledge, solutions, and best practices
• Manage a staff of junior engineers and delegate work as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• 5+ years of engineering experience with land development/site design projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience with Civil 3D and ICPR
