Effodio, Inc. is transforming application and infrastructure analytics in the cloud with a platform leveraging modern distributed systems. They are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to expand the infrastructure supporting their cloud-native analytics platform across multiple cloud providers.
Responsibilities:
- Help architect, and then build the multi-cloud infrastructure using the current single-cloud infrastructure as a reference
- Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Operate and optimize multi-cloud environments, including deployment, operations, security, cost optimization, and resource lifecycle management
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable deployments. Support development and QA teams with acceptance testing
- Implement industry-standard monitoring and observability tools and leverage Effodio’s own platform to enhance operations
- Apply best practices in secrets management, container hardening, and infrastructure security
- Work cross-functionally with backend, frontend, and QA teams in a remote-first environment
- Lead incident handling and improve alerting, redundancy, and recovery processes
- Advocate for scalable tooling, automation, and infrastructure best practices
Requirements:
- 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering with experience in cloud-native systems
- Experience with tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, Terragrunt, Helm, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Git, Go, and Bash
- Hands-on experience managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters, including creating manifests and working with Kubernetes resources and tooling
- Ability to design complex systems and understand architectural tradeoffs
- Demonstrated ability to automate infrastructure and deployment processes based on defined requirements
- Effective communicator with experience working across engineering teams
- Understanding of secrets management, container security, and identity- and resource-based security policies for cloud deployments
- Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States
- Candidates with multi-cloud, GCP, or Azure experience will be preferred
- Experience with related cloud tooling (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep, Pulumi, Linux, Python) is also valuable
