Core Values
Picture a Neos customer who used to call support for every workflow question. Six months in, they’re training their own new hires, building their own reports, and showing peers the shortcuts they’ve discovered. That shift, from dependent to confident, is what great customer education makes possible. It’s also central to how Assembly grows.
We’re looking for a Director of Customer Education to build that experience at scale. You’ll design the learning strategy that takes Neos customers from onboarding to deep product mastery, and you’ll do it in a way that reduces the cost of training per customer without cutting corners on quality. This is a chance to build a program from a position of real influence, partnering directly with Product, Customer Success, and our Chief Customer Officer to make education a genuine driver of retention and growth.
What You’ll Do
• Set the strategy for how Neos customers learn, from self-serve courses and certifications to live webinars and in-product guidance
• Build a digital-first education model that shifts volume from high-touch, live training to scalable, on-demand resources
• Launch and grow a Neos certification program for users, administrators, and implementation partners
• Lead and develop the Customer Education team, including Jennifer Allen and her direct reports
• Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Implementation to embed education into every product launch and onboarding journey
• Track KPIs like cost per training interaction, adoption rates, and time-to-value, and report progress to senior leadership
What You Bring
• 8+ years in customer education, instructional design, or learning and development in a B2B SaaS environment, including 3+ years leading a team
• A track record of building a scalable, digital-first training model that lowered cost per customer without sacrificing quality
• Strong command of LMS platforms and digital content tools
• A data-driven approach to setting KPIs and proving program ROI
• Bonus: experience in legal tech or vertical SaaS, and background building a customer certification program
What We Offer
• A competitive base salary, commensurate with experience
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
• Flexible PTO
• Remote-first work environment with home office support
Assembly Software is a fully remote, PE-backed B2B SaaS legal technology company serving personal injury law firms across the United States. Our flagship product, Neos, is the leading cloud-based case management platform purpose-built for PI firms. With approximately 130 employees and a growing customer base, we are scaling the way PI law firms operate, and customer education is central to that mission.
When you’re considering a new job, it’s normal to have a ton of questions. Here are a few things we get asked all of the time:
I am tired of the daily grind of a commute, where are you located?
With the exception of an occasional visit to our Miami, FL office, we rely on Teams and Zoom for virtual video meetings, so when you work at Assembly, you get to work in the comfort of your own home in your PJs if you’d like!
