About the Project

Scope is code remediation, not net-new development: existing custom ABAP objects need environment-specific hard-coded references identified and corrected for the new tenant. This role leads the initial code assessment, then directs remediation through build and test cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Code assessment: Complete the ABAP code assessment and inventory early in the program.
• Remediation leadership: Direct remediation of hard-coded references and environment-specific fixes.
• Test cycle support: Support ABAP validation across functional and integration test cycles.
• Clean core advisory: Advise on clean-core alignment for objects touched during remediation.
• Offshore coordination: Direct and review remediation build work performed by offshore developer resources.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years SAP ABAP development experience, with demonstrated code remediation/migration project experience (not solely greenfield build).
• Experience identifying and correcting environment-specific hard-coded references during system copies or carve-outs.
• Working knowledge of clean core principles and S/4HANA extensibility guidelines.
• Comfortable directing offshore development resources and reviewing/approving code changes.
• SAP BTP exposure.
