Director of Sales And Business Development

ServiceCall is building an AI-powered lead enrichment and home intelligence platform for residential contractors. The Director of Sales and Business Development will lead outbound sales efforts, build a go-to-market strategy, and own revenue generation while managing a team to drive success in the home services market.

Responsibilities:

• Lead outbound SaaS sales into home service businesses across the U.S., selling directly to owners, operators, and general managers in HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and electrical
• Run strong discovery: diagnose poor lead quality, missing customer data, slow speed-to-lead, and low conversion rates — and quantify the revenue impact
• Conduct demos and full-cycle sales conversations, articulating clear ROI tied to lead conversion lift and revenue recovery
• Close mid-market and high-value accounts, owning negotiation and contract execution
• Maintain clean pipeline data, activity logs, and forecasting in HubSpot
• Hire, train, and manage SDRs and AEs as the team grows — you’ll define the roles, run the interviews, and own the ramp plans
• Coach reps on discovery, objection handling, and closing through call reviews and deal support
• Set activity standards and hold the team accountable to pipeline generation and conversion targets
• Build outbound messaging, sales playbooks, scripts, and vertical-specific positioning around lead enrichment and conversion lift
• Own pipeline generation, forecasting, and revenue targets — report on them weekly
• Partner with marketing on demand generation: shape campaign messaging, email sequences, and content angles based on what’s resonating in live sales conversations
• Get hands-on with marketing where it moves the number — landing page copy, case studies, testimonials, and social proof pulled from your own closed deals
• Work directly with leadership to refine product positioning, pricing feedback, and the customer feedback loop into product

Requirements:

• 3–7+ years in B2B SaaS or high-velocity sales with a verifiable track record of hitting quota
• Strong outbound background: cold outreach, multi-channel prospecting, and pipeline building from scratch
• Strong discovery skills — able to uncover hidden inefficiencies in how a business buys, handles, and converts leads
• Ability to clearly articulate ROI tied to lead conversion and revenue recovery for operational buyers
• Leadership experience, or demonstrated ability to manage and coach reps
• CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) with disciplined pipeline hygiene and forecasting
• Genuine interest in owning revenue beyond the sales number — willing to roll up your sleeves on marketing and demand generation, not just work the leads you're handed
• Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and accountability in a lean, fast-moving startup
• Experience selling into SMB or operationally heavy industries — home services, construction, trades, logistics, or field services
• Familiarity with the software contractors run on (ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, Service Fusion, or similar)
• Experience selling data, enrichment, or lead-generation products where ROI is measured in conversion lift
• Comfort using AI-powered sales tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Apollo, or similar) to accelerate prospecting and outreach
• Basic marketing skills — email campaigns, LinkedIn content, landing page copy, or paid ads experience (HubSpot Marketing, Meta Ads, Google Ads, or similar)
• Early-stage startup experience where you built the sales motion from zero
