PowerBI Architect with Copilot & AI

Job title: Sr. PowerBI Developer/Arch. with Copilot & AI
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Long term contract

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Build scalable semantic models using star schema and dimensional modeling techniques.
• Develop advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and Power Query transformations.
• Optimize report performance and improve data refresh efficiency.
• Integrate Power BI with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and various cloud/on-premises data sources.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), and governance best practices.
• Utilize Microsoft Copilot for report creation, DAX generation, data exploration, and business insights.
• Build AI-powered dashboards using Azure AI services, Cognitive Services, and Generative AI capabilities.
• Implement predictive analytics, anomaly detection, forecasting, and AI-driven visualizations.
• Develop Power BI solutions integrated with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and AI-powered assistants.
• Automate reporting processes using Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and convert them into analytical solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning for datasets, DirectQuery, Import, and Composite models.
• Implement deployment pipelines, CI/CD processes, and version control.
• Mentor junior developers and establish Power BI development standards and best practices.
