American Beacon Partners is a diversified asset management platform with over 30 investment managers. The VP, Senior National Accounts Manager, will manage the national accounts team, drive strategic direction, and serve as the primary contact for key broker dealer relationships, promoting investment product sales and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Builds strategic relationships with key broker dealer platforms
- Increases American Beacon Partners product offerings on key platforms
- Coordinates marketing, sales and support services for assigned key accounts
- Makes presentations to existing and prospective key accounts
- Responsible for the entire relationship including new business, asset retention, increasing flows, expanding product offerings with existing relationships and client satisfaction
- Promote investment product sales through frequent client meetings/discussions about investment strategy and investment performance
- Promotes American Beacon strategies for model placement and/or research coverage within key platforms
- Leads, mentors, and develops the National Accounts team to strengthen sales execution, account coverage, and professional growth
- Establishes clear performance expectations, provides regular coaching and feedback, and aligns team priorities with firm sales strategy and business objectives
- Maintains consistent communication of firm initiatives to the external sales force
- Serves as the account and relationship manager responsible for product placement, new business development, key negotiations, and marketing campaign to promote American Beacon products and services
Requirements:
- Ten or more years of Key Account and/or National Account experience
- Prior managerial experience with responsibility for leading, coaching, and developing a national accounts team
- Excellent sales skills, in-depth key account and product knowledge
- Stature and experience to cover large/complex key account relationships
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, paired with the highest standards of ethics and integrity
- Strong planning, organization, analytical and technical skills
- Handle multiple responsibilities concurrently and work independently to perform a variety of tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Team player and possess the ability to drive key decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Flexibility for extensive business travel that includes attending investment conferences and shareholder/prospect sales calls
- College degree in business administration or equivalent work experience
- NASD license series 7 and 63 required
- CIMA and/or CFA preferred
