Job Summary
Our client is seeking an InfoSec Vault Engineer to lead engineering and DevOps efforts for a global secrets management program using HashiCorp Vault, driving automation, orchestration, and cross-team collaboration to enhance operational efficiency and security.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Lead engineering and DevOps efforts for a global secrets management program using HashiCorp Vault
- Drive automation, orchestration, and cross-team collaboration for operational efficiency and security
- Design, build, and maintain secure infrastructure, including API Security, Encryption, PKI, and Access Control
- Provide hands-on administration and support for security infrastructure and monitoring tools
- Engineer integrations between HashiCorp Vault and SRE frameworks
- Collaborate with security and development teams using Agile methodologies
- Author, review, and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks and standards
- Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for InfoSec engineers and stakeholders
- Ensure BAU technology stability through change management and incident response
- Oversee disaster recovery processes to maintain operational continuity
Requirements
- 10 15 years of experience in Information Security, DevOps, or related infrastructure roles
- Hands-on expertise with HashiCorp Vault and secrets management
- Strong experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Solid understanding of API Security, Encryption, PKI, Authentication, and Access Control
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
- Demonstrated expertise in Change Management, Incident Management, and Disaster Recovery
