Scout Global is a fast-growing AI security company seeking a highly experienced Head of Product Marketing. This foundational role is responsible for building and leading the Product Marketing function, defining positioning, shaping go-to-market strategy, and translating complex AI capabilities into customer value.
Responsibilities:
- Establish the product marketing discipline, processes, and operating cadence from scratch
- Define positioning, messaging, and value propositions across products and customer segments
- Develop the company’s product narrative and category story
- Create and maintain core messaging frameworks and competitive differentiation
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches and feature releases
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Leadership to align roadmap with market opportunities
- Define target personas, use cases, and buying journeys
- Drive adoption, pipeline generation, and product usage through strategic campaigns
- Convert complex AI and security functionality into clear, differentiated messaging
- Develop technical content including:
- Product positioning and solution briefs
- Architecture diagrams and technical documentation
- Whitepapers and technical blogs
- Demo narratives and use-case storytelling
- Build and maintain sales enablement assets, including:
- Pitch decks
- Battlecards
- Competitive intelligence
- ROI and value messaging
- Train sales teams on messaging, positioning, and product capabilities
- Support strategic deals and customer conversations when needed
- Monitor the competitive landscape across AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise security platforms
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging threats
- Inform product and leadership decisions with actionable insights
- Help define the company’s category positioning in AI security
- Support executive visibility through technical content and messaging
- Collaborate on analyst relations, conference messaging, and industry positioning
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Solutions Marketing, or Technical Marketing
- MUST have been working for a Cyber Security or AI vendor, this is non-negotiable
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling product marketing in a start-up or high-growth environment
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
- Experience leading product launches and go-to-market initiatives
- The ability to hire and onboard new members of your team at the relevant time
