People Culture Talent is recruiting on behalf of their client, a venture-backed AI infrastructure company. They are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly within customer environments, implementing and enhancing a platform that supports mission-critical software and AI workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end technical implementations, managing the process from kickoff to successful adoption
- Design and develop custom workflows, integrations, and extensions tailored to specific customer needs
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues within customer environments
- Establish trusted relationships with customer engineering and technical teams
- Share field insights with the product and engineering teams to inform improvements
- Guide customers in defining deployment architectures and best practices that ensure long-term success
- Create deployment playbooks, technical documentation, and implementation resources to accelerate future projects
Requirements:
- Experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or customer facing technical roles
- Strong development fundamentals, with the ability to write production-quality code
- Direct experience collaborating with customers to solve technical problems and deliver successful outcomes
- Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, distributed systems, or cloud-based architectures
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ownership mentality, taking responsibility for outcomes from discovery through delivery
- Experience with developer tools, infrastructure platforms, enterprise software, or AI-native products is a strong plus
