Test Engineer - Manual and Mobile

Testing Mavens, based in New Jersey, USA, is a cutting-edge provider of QA & Software Testing Services. They are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to conduct various testing activities, including web and mobile testing, while managing project resources and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on web testing
• Hands on Native mobile app testing
• Hands on API testing
• Conduct regression, smoke and production testing and analyzing the results to create post release report
• Develop and execute integration scenarios
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
• Analyzing and synthesizing requirements to create test plan, scope and test cases
• Analyzing post production quality and provide metrics for the same
• Manage resource and project allocation and work with stakeholders in project prioritization

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in web and mobile testing
• Strong problem identification and solving skills
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong experience with API and backend testing
• Works well in a multi-disciplined team environment
• Strong communication skills, oral and written - able to engender trust and respect of peers and stakeholders
• Capable of juggling a number of priorities and delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Clear communicator (written and verbal)
• Creative troubleshooting of technical problems
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
• Ability to think outside the box
• Ability to work in a team
• Basic knowledge of automation and OOP concepts
• Experience with codeless automation tools
