Project Manager - Customer Programs

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is a world leader in interconnect solutions for various electronics markets. They are seeking a Project Manager for Customer Programs to oversee new product introductions, manage customer initiatives, and ensure cross-functional collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• NPI Manager to assume overall responsibility for all activities related to the smooth, efficient and successful launch of new products for the Power Solutions business, including prototype/initial builds, documentation required for appropriate processes, fixtures and tooling, final package for test engineering, and introduction into manufacturing
• Act as the primary liaison between Product Management, Engineering, Site Operations, and other internal teams to ensure alignment across all phases of front-end customer projects
• Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to drive clarity on scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Support key customer initiatives in the Datacom segment by managing timelines, deliverables, and communication flow
• Serve as a point of contact for updates and responses related to customer-facing programs and technical engagements
• Coordinate prototype builds and documentation required for NPI success
• Ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing, with clear oversight of tooling, test, and production ramp-up activities
• Maintain project plans with defined milestones, risks, and dependencies
• Track progress against goals, identify bottlenecks, and proactively escalate issues to maintain momentum
• Ensure manufacturing and supply chain readiness by coordinating with site teams
• Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and launch coordination
• Coordinate and transfer/transition manufacturing processes to production factories in Asia/North America
• Identify and mitigate risks early using structured tools and frameworks
• Collaborate with teams to develop contingency plans that keep programs on track
• Provide consistent and clear communication on program status, risks, and needs to stakeholders at all levels
• Drive regular updates and alignment meetings between teams to ensure visibility and accountability
• Ability to travel internationally up to 30%

Requirements:

• B.S. in, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Fluent in English, bilingual candidates fluent in Mandarin a plus
• Exceptional organization, creativity, adaptability, and strong project management to in a rapidly changing, multitasking environment
• Good communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, GANTT charts etc.), the ability to integrate with cross functional teams globally and a willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' to get the job done
• Ability to travel internationally up to 30%
• Experience in connector industry, some knowledge of server/storage/networking/data center rack level architectures preferred
• Career progression from new product design/development engineering into manufacturing and NPI management is preferred
